Key Details:

Description

The Aillio Bean Deflector is a simple but effective upgrade for users roasting larger batches on the Bullet R1 V2. Made from stainless steel, it attaches above the drum outlet to guide beans directly into the cooling tray - preventing spills and improving workflow consistency.

It’s especially useful when roasting 800g to 1kg batches, where the bean momentum can cause them to overshoot the tray. The deflector installs easily and doesn’t interfere with access or operation.

What problem does the bean deflector solve?

When roasting larger batches on the Bullet R1 V2, some beans can bounce past the cooling tray as they exit the drum. The bean deflector prevents this by guiding the flow of beans downward, ensuring they land where they should - every time.

Is it only useful for large batch sizes?

It’s most noticeable when roasting 800g to 1kg batches, but it can improve consistency across any volume. Whether you’re roasting commercially or just want to avoid mess, it keeps things more controlled.

I've had my Bullet v2 since December of 2020, back when stock was limited and I had to pounce on the buy button when they became available. Now, after all that time, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again tomorrow if I had to
