Discover the extraordinary Sai Ashirwad, a rare specialty Robusta from the prestigious Chikmagalur region of Karnataka, nestled at an elevation of 920 meters. This coffee is truly one of a kind, distinguished not just by its origin but also by its meticulous production process. Each cherry is hand-picked and subjected to an exclusive 84-hour anoxic fermentation, where it ferments in oxygen-depleted tanks. This innovative method elevates its flavor profile, resulting in a bold cup that captivates the senses.

Experience the unique fusion of flavours that Sai Ashirwad offers: a vibrant, fruit-forward character enriched by deep earthy undertones, with tantalising hints of cherry and blackcurrant liqueur. Its syrupy mouthfeel carries exquisite notes of high-cocoa dark chocolate, finishing with a subtle touch of nutmeg. As the coffee cools, its clean, balanced acidity unfolds further, enhancing the complexity of this exceptional brew. Sai Ashirwad is not just coffee; it’s a dynamic tasting journey that showcases the rare potential of specialty Robusta.

South Indian Coffee Company

Countries of operation India
Established date 2017

South India Coffee Company (SICC) was founded in 2017 by the husband and wife duo Akshay Dashrath and Komal Sable. As fifth-generation coffee producers from Coorg, one of India's oldest coffee-growing regions, we established SICC to create a collaborative supply chain focused on sustainably produced Indian specialty coffee with global reach. Our mission is to foster a more equitable and sustainable coffee industry by partnering with producers, roasters, and importers. Inspired by our time in the UK and the limited availability of Indian coffees, we embarked on this journey to put Indian coffee on the world map. Today, SICC operates in the USA, UK, and India, with end-to-end logistics and warehousing capabilities. We also collaborate with partners in Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Singapore.

We envision a world where everyone involved in the coffee chain, from farmers to roasters, can thrive economically while being mindful of the environment.
