This exceptional coffee from Odaco, a village near Gatta farm in Shantawene, reflects the traditions and meticulous care of its origin. Named after a towering fig tree where the community gathers, "Odaco" symbolises the connection between the land and its people.

Grown by local farmers who are registered members of Daye Bensa Coffee, the 74158 varietal beans are delivered to Gatta farm, where they are processed separately to preserve their unique character. This coffee is dried on African raised beds for a minimum of three weeks with a process that includes handpicking to remove under-ripe or damaged cherries, regular stirring for even drying, and careful covering during the hottest midday hours to protect the beans. This extended, attentive process enhances the coffee’s natural sweetness and preserves its delicate character.

The result is a clean, vibrant cup with bright citrus and ripe peach notes, complemented by floral hints and a smooth, black tea-like finish. With its balance and complexity, this coffee captures the essence of Odaco’s heritage and expertise.
