Refund & Returns Policy
Green Coffee Collective
We want your experience with us to be easy and transparent. If something’s gone wrong with your order, we’ll do our best to make it right. Below you’ll find our returns policy, shaped to protect both our customers and our small team.
Standard Returns
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return, provided that the item:

Is unopened and unused
-
Is in its original packaging
-
Is returned with proof of purchase
To start a return, email orders@greencoffeecollective.com with your order number and a short explanation. Once we approve the return, we’ll send you instructions and the correct return address based on your location.
Please do not send any item back without approval - unauthorised returns will not be accepted or refunded.
Green Coffee Returns
Unroasted (green) coffee can be returned, but only if:

It’s unopened and in its original packaging

You contact us within 7 days of delivery

You include your order number and reason for the return
We don’t accept returns for green coffee that has been opened, stored incorrectly, or returned outside the 7-day window.
Damages or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, email us at orders@greencoffeecollective.com right away. We’ll investigate quickly and arrange a replacement, refund, or fix where appropriate.

Return Shipping Costs

If the return is due to our error (e.g. incorrect item, damaged goods), we’ll cover return shipping.

If it’s a change of mind, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and the cost will be deducted from your refund.

For equipment or single items over £300, a flat £50 restocking fee will apply unless the item is faulty.
Exchanges
Need something else? The fastest option is to complete the approved return and place a new order separately.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
We can’t accept returns on:

Opened or used items
-
Perishable goods (e.g. food, plants)

Custom orders or personalised items

Gift cards
-
Items returned outside the allowed timeframe
If you return an item without approval or it falls into the categories above, we won’t be able to issue a refund — even if you’ve paid to return it.
EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order was shipped to an EU country, you’re entitled to cancel or return it within 14 days, no reason required. The item must be unused, in original packaging, and returned at your own cost.
Consumer & Business Customers
We supply both individuals and businesses. If you’ve placed an order for commercial or resale use, some consumer protections may not apply — but we’ll always aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll confirm whether your refund has been approved. If it is, you’ll be refunded via your original payment method within 10 business days.
If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you haven’t received your refund, just drop us a line at orders@greencoffeecollective.com.
