Dominican Republic Green Coffee
The Dominican Republic may not be the first place that comes to mind for specialty coffee, but it quietly produces sweet, clean, and characterful arabicas. Grown in organic, shade-grown systems across varied microclimates, these coffees are shaped by altitude, terroir and traditional wet processing. Most of the country’s production is consumed domestically, which means what makes it to export is often the best of the crop - making it well worth exploring for roasters looking for something different.
