Our Story

We started as East African Coffee company originally in Uganda, but later on the 8th floor of a tiny central London Flat.

We spent hours carrying entire bags of green coffee into James’ front room only to break the down and send them to anyone who was willing to purchase regardless of size.

We formed relationships with fantastic people running similar coffee import and coffee production businesses. We all held values that aligned and over time we pitched the idea of selling together as a collective with the aim to compete with the conglomerate globally-focused existing import businesses.

We started with 5kg bags via a basic website and grew as we learned what our customers want and what the industry was missing we set out on a mission to build the tools to make for a more transparent coffee industry.

Our Mission

Change the way the world buys green coffee

Build the fairest green coffee supply chain - transparent,  structured, stable and eventually free of the C-Price.  We’re creating solutions that solve problems from farmers to roasters, to make a complicated and chaotic industry simple and safe for all of its members.
