Indonesia Green Coffee Beans
Indonesia is one of the world’s most diverse coffee origins. Coffee is grown across islands including Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Bali and Flores. Most coffee is produced by smallholder farmers, with many using a traditional wet-hulled processing style (giling basah), which creates the heavy body, low acidity and earthy-sweet profile often associated with Indonesian coffees. There is growing interest in traceable, island-specific lots, particularly from cooperatives who are working to move beyond the broad “Sumatra” and “Java” labels of the past.
