We are proud to share a taste of our heritage with the world.'

    • A History of Bella Aldea

Bella Aldea is built on over a century of coffee-growing tradition. It began in 1890, when Clemente Ramirez and his family moved from Janico to Juncalito, looking for fertile land. They planted their first coffee trees soon after - and that legacy has been passed down ever since. Today, fourth and fifth-generation farmers Rafael and Franklyn are carrying that work forward, producing high-quality coffee that honours their family’s deep roots in Juncalito.

    • Bella Aldea Core Values

Bella Aldea is built on a commitment to quality, sustainability, and community. The team is focused on producing some of the finest coffee in the Dominican Republic, while protecting the natural environment that makes it possible. Social responsibility is also central to their approach, with support for local community programmes woven into the way they work.

    • How to Buy and Import Coffee from the Dominican Republic

Bella Aldea sources directly from their family farm in Juncalito. While they’ve traditionally roasted all of their own coffee, they’ve recently started exporting and are excited to share their green coffee with roasters in the UK.
