For years, his coffee entered the domestic market as red or dried cherries, where pricing rarely reflected the quality of the varieties he was growing. When Ethiopia changed its export rules in 2018, smallholders were finally able to export their own coffee directly. Mitiku secured his licence and began working with Mecota Trading, allowing him to access buyers and pricing that had previously been out of reach.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1320\"\u003eThis natural lot comes from that shift. The farm sits at around 2000 masl and includes both JARC selections and local landraces.
